VoiceOver and accessibility

If something is not reachable without sight, that is a bug worth emailing about.

Messages after an action

The confirmed Extra explanation and list/reading tips dismiss after 12 seconds of unfocused time, with or without VoiceOver. VoiceOver focus on their text or Close control pauses that timer; leaving resumes the remaining time. Ordinary success confirmations are shorter. Undo and genuine scheduling warnings keep their separate treatment and may stay until dismissed under VoiceOver.

Known first-generation SE / iOS 15 limitation: touching the message words may reach a button behind them instead of rereading the message. Avoid using the words as a touch target; use the message's Close control. Reminder information remains available through the reminder information control and Reminders page. Closing an in-app message does not cancel a reminder; Close on an iOS notification does stop remaining Extra notifications.

In the item editor, Saved appears only after saving finishes. Scheduling warnings appear above Close/Save instead of covering those buttons. If saving is slow, leaving after the offered escape does not cancel the work. A native call that never returns can require restarting the app.
